MONTGOMERY, IDA
(1 Jul 1909, Thursday, Beckham County Democrat, Erick, Beckham Co, OK):
The Baptist pastor conducted the funeral services last week of Mrs. Jeff
Montgomery, near Prentiss.  It was a very sad occasion, two little
children being left motherless.  How much, indeed, should those whose
mothers are spared to them appreciate them.  Nor should such children fail
to show that appreciation when they are older grown. (Buffalo Cemetery,
Beckham Co, Okla.)
