(13 Dec 1928, Erick Democrat, Erick, Beckham Co, OK): Miss Naomi Hunt and Mr. and Mrs. Holloway of McLean, Texas, attended the funeral of W. H. Morgan. Mr. Hulan Morgan and Mrs. Loveta Roper returned to their home at McLean, Texas, Monday. Mr. and Mrs. Jessie Cobbs and Mrs. J. E. Lynch and Mr. and Mrs. Ed Landers and Mr. and Mrs. T. A. Landers and Mrs. Lockridge of McLean, Texas, attended the funeral of W. H. Morgan here Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Barger and children of Hobart, Oklahoma, attended the funeral of her uncle W. H. Morgan here Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Levi Robert attended the funeral of W. H. Morgan Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. J. J. Simmons and children and Mr. Lawton Roper returned to their home at McLean, Texas, Sunday. Mr. E. J. Simmerly and Mrs. Wylie Collums and daughter, Mrs. Bell Smith and Mrs. P. L. Phillips of Wichita Falls, Texas, were here to attend the funeral of W. H. Morgan. Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Simmerly and Miss Nena Simmerly of Mangum, Oklahoma, were here Sunday to attend the funeral of W. H. Morgan. Mr. Charlie Sample and Misses Ruby and Quida Morgan and Mrs. Sherman and Cellan and Austin Morgan from Brinkman, Oklahoma, were here Sunday to attend the funeral of W. H. Morgan. Raymond Bass came in Friday, from Perico, Texas, to attend the funeral of his uncle. Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Hughes of Shamrock, Texas, were here for the funeral of their uncle W. H. Morgan. Mr. Ernest Forsyth and Mr. Cake Forsyth and their mother of Texola attended the funeral of W. H. Morgan, Sunday.
