(11 Jul 1912, Thursday, Erick Altruist, Erick, Beckham Co, OK): Died. Monday, July 8, 1912, at 6:35 p.m., at his home here, Charles T. O'Kelly (sic), died of dropsy at the age of 46 years, 7 months and 24 days. The funeral services were conducted by the Masons and the sermon preached by Rev. Hoyle in the Methodist church Tuesday at three o'clock. Interment in the Erick cemetery. Mr. O'Kelly had been in failing health for several months but had been confined to his bed only about two weeks prior to his death. (11 Jul 1912, Thursday, Elk City Record, Elk City, Beckham Co, OK): C. T. O'Kelly died at his home in Erick, Monday night after a lingering illness of dropsy. He leaves a wife and four children, three boys and one girl.
