(11 Sep 1924, Thursday, Erick Democrat, Erick, Beckham Co, OK):
W. M. Parrish Dies in Tex.
Felix and Jim Parrish have just returned from Omaha, Tex., where they were
called on account of the death of their father W. M. Parrish.  Mr. Parrish
has been an Erick visitor with his daughter Mrs. W. O. Hood and the
Parrish boys for many summers.  He always claimed and made Texas his home
but delighted in visiting here, and was stricken with his last illness
only a few days after going home late in Aug.  Mr. Parrish reached the age
of 75 and had served his home people as county treasurer for several
terms, as well as engaged in a number of civic enterprises.
