PUTHUFF, CARRIE
(10 Sep 1908,Thursday, Beckham County Democrat, Erick, Beckham Co, OK):
OBITUARY.
Pale death with equal tread knocks at the cottage door and Palace gate,
and on Sept. 4, 1908, laid its hands on the subject of this sketch -
Carrie Putuff (sic) and consigned her to that realm from whence no
traveler returns.  She had been ill only a few days and passed away with a
hard struggle to the grief of many relatives and friends, her parents and
several brothers and sisters survive her.  Weep not dear mother the time
will come when all will be well with thee. (1891-1908, Erick Cemetery)
