Eva Lena (Williams) Regensberg was born at Foss, Oklahoma, March 14, 1903, and died at her home in East Los Vegus, New Mexico, March 26th, 1926. She was twenty-three years and twelve days of age. The remains were brought here Monday afternoon and funeral services conducted at the First Baptist Church by Rev. Geo. W. Hutto, at 3:30 p.m. The body was laid to rest in the Erick cemetery. Eva Lena was the only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. L. D. Williams who are members of the Erick Baptist Church and who reside near Sweetwater, Oklahoma. She professed faith in Christ and united with the Baptist Church at Sweetwater when she was twelve years of age. She entered Erick High School as a freshman in the fall of 1918, and after attending school here for two years she moved with her parents and completed her high school work at Raton, New Mexico. While attending college at Northeast State Normal, at Los Vegas, New Mexico, she married Leo Regensberg, June 29, 1923. Besides her infant daughter, 3 year old son and husband, she leaves to mourn her loss her mother, father, three brothers and a host of relatives and friends. CARD OF THANKS We wish to take this method of thanking the many friends who so willingly and faithfully helped in our greatest sorrow, the death and burial of our beloved Eva Lena (Williams) Regensberg. It seemed almost impossible to bear the burden had not the good people been ever ready to help us. May the richest blessings of heaven and earth be yours. Leo Regensberg and son David.
