Rev. W. A. Washburn pastor of the church conducted the services. Interment was made in the Delhi cemetery. The death of uncle Joe came as a surprise to his many friends at Delhi. He was in the hospital for sometime prior to his death. His children were summoned to his bedside when his condition became critical a few days before death, however, he was thought to be improving for a while after that. With him at his death were his wife, his son and Mr. and Mrs. Johnny Bryan. Mr. and Mrs. Rural Eppe---(blurred) were unable to be there when death came.
