Died March 17th, 1930. Deceased was the son of Mr. and Mrs. J. T. Reynolds of Shamrock, and was well known and highly esteemed in Shamrock and Texola communities. The hugh (sic) display of flowers, bearing mute testimony to this fact. Linual was a Freshman, in Shamrock high school. Pall Bearers and flower girls were his classmates. As the casket was borne into the church, followed by the relatives and friends, the choir sang very softly, "The Old Rugged Cross", the song "Will The Circle Be In The Garden" was rendered as a quartette. C. F. O'Connor of Erick had charge of the services, assisted by Rev. Davis, pastor of the First Christian Church, Shamrock, and D. W. Foster, pastor Advent Christian Church, Lela Hill. Funeral services were held in the First Christian Church in Shamrock, at 3:30 o'clock, Tuesday, March 18. Those left to mourn his death are: his father, mother, five brothers, two sisters, and a host of other relatives and friends. We sorrow, not as others who have no hope, for we know that in the resurrection morning, Linual, through Jesus Christ, will rise a victor over death and the grave. Linual was laid to rest in the Shamrock Cemetery, there to await the call of the Master. --------------------------------------------------- Return to Beckham County Archives: http://www.usgwarchives.net/ok/beckham/beckham.html
