All rights reserved. http://www.rootsweb.com/~usgenweb/copyright.htm ************************************************ ROBISON, NEWTON JOSEPH (28 May 1925, Thursday, Erick Democrat, Erick, Beckham Co, OK): N. J. Robison, one of the pioneer citizens of the Delhi community died at the hospital at Elk City last Thursday night after an illness of three days. Mr. Robison and family came to Oklahoma in the early days. He was a Confederate soldier, and enjoyed the distinction of being one of the oldest Oddfellows in Oklahoma, being a member for fifty one years. The funeral services were held at the Delhi Methodist Church Saturday afternoon and the burial rite conducted by the Sayre Lodge A.F. & A.M. Mr. Robison is survived by his aged wife and several children.
