ROWLAND, J. E.
(30 Dec 1926, Beckham County Democrat, Erick, Beckham Co, OK):
IN MEMORIAM
J. E. Rowland was born in Macon County, Mo., March 5th, 1852, died at
Erick, Okla., December 13th, 1926, age 74 years, 9 months and 8 days,
Married to Mary Ely December 4th, 1879, to this union three children were
born, two of which live in Erick community.  One son proceeded (sic) his
father in death.  His wife proceeded her husband in death.
Mr. Rowland became a member of the First Christian Church of Erick,
September 20, 1906.
Funeral services were held at First Christian Church, Tuesday, at 2:30,
December 14 by Eld. Taylor of Sweetwater.  His son, Earl was unable to
attend the funeral on account of being ill with blood poison.
