SELF, JAY R.
(30 Jan 1930, Thursday, Beckham County Democrat, Erick, Beckham Co, OK):
J. R. Self, 45, pioneer citizen of Erick and for a number of years engaged
in the produce business, died at his home here Tuesday afternoon at 1:00
o'clock, following a short illness.
Deceased was born December 14th, 1884, near Sherman, Grayson County,
Texas.  He was married there July 2nd 1911, to Miss Alta Rosson and to
this union was born a son and daughter, Millard and Leona, all of whom
survive.
The body is being held at the home of the deceased pending funeral
arrangements according to Fatheree Undertaking Company, who later states
that the funeral services will be held at the home in Erick Thursday,
January 30th, at 2:00 o'clock.
