SHEETS, PAROLEE
(10 Mar 1927, Beckham County Democrat, Erick, Beckham Co, OK):
Mrs. Parolee Clark Sheets, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Clark, died at
the Hubbard Hospital, Oklahoma City, March 6th, 1927.
Mrs. Sheets was born in Alabama October 5th, 1869.  Spent the early part
of her life in Texas.  Has been a faithful, devoted member of the
Christian Church for 38 years.  On July 14, 1889, she was united in
marriage to W. M. Sheets, who was living at that time at Bryson, Texas. 
Moving to Delhi, Okla., 1898.  Later they moved to Erick, Okla., where
they spent 16 years.  Two and a half years ago they moved to Norman,
Okla., built a lovely home on Lahoma Ave. and entered Mable, their only
daughter at home, in the University.
To this union were born seven children, four died in infancy.
Mrs. Sheets is survived by her husband and three daughters, Mrs. Ora Mae
Powell, Erick, Okla., Mrs. Pearl E. Curtis, Wills Point, Texas, and Miss
Mable Dell Sheets, Norman, Okla.
She had been a sweet patient sufferer through six (6) long months but the
call came Lord's Day March 6th, 1927, at ten forty-three.  She was
surrounded by her dear ones, and all that love, devotion and money could
do was done for her.
The body was brought to Erick, Sunday night to the home of her daughter,
Mrs. Lee Powell.  Funeral services were held at the First Church of
Christ, where she was a Charter member, conducted by J. L. Haddock of
Norman, an old friend of the family, at 1 P.M. Monday, after which loving
hands laid her away in the Delhi cemetery by the side of her 2 babies. 
The family have the sympathy of all in this their great hour of sorrow.
