SITES, JOHN HERBERT
(1 Nov 1928, Beckham County Democrat, Erick, Beckham Co, OK):
John Herbert Sites was born in Penn. October 11, 1869 (sic); died October
26th, 1928, at Wichita, Kansas.  Age 60 years and 15 days.
Mr. Sites was well known in Beckham county having lived in the Buffalo
community for a number of years.
The funeral services were conducted at the Buffalo church by Rev. Wilson,
and interment was made in the Buffalo cemetery.

Mr. John Herbert Sites was born October 11th, 1868  in Adams County,
Penn., Departed from this life, October 26, 1928, at the home of his
sister, Mrs. C. F. Bass.  Age 60 years and 15 days.
Mr. Sites was a member of the Reformed Church, also a member of the
I.O.O.F. lodge, located at Liberty, Oklahoma.  Surviving are his wife,
Mrs. Margaret Sites, one daughter, Mrs. J. T. Noah of Oklahoma City, four
sons, George, A. J., Earl, both of Mayfield, Oklahoma.  Walter W., Andrew
J. Sites both of Erick.  One sister, Mrs. C. F. Barr (sic) of Wichita,
Kansas, One brother Dondy Sites of Mayfield, Oklahoma.  There are 17
Grandchildren, also 12 other near relatives who do not reside in Oklahoma.
