STAGGS, EMILY RUTH
(24 Mar 1927, Beckham County Democrat, Erick, Beckham Co, OK):
GRANDMOTHER STAGGS
Grandma Staggs died March 13th, 1927, at the home of her daughter, Mrs.
Hill at Mayfield, at the age of 85 years 7 months and 14 days.
Funeral services were held at the Church of Christ of which she had been a
consecrated member for a number of years, conducted by Rev. Taylor of
Sweetwater, after which she was laid to rest in the Erick Cemetery by the
side of her husband.
Mrs. Staggs is survived by one daughter, Mrs. W. F. Hill of Mayfield and
one son, Mr. S. Staggs, who is dangerously ill and was unable to attend
the funeral.
Grandchildren who attended were Mrs. Earl Cousins of Willow, Mr. and Mrs.
Dutch Staggs of Blair, Mrs. Ella Roddy and Mr. and Mrs. Buford Staggs. 
Great Grandchildren Misses Okemah and Wanna Self.  We extend to the
bereaved ones our deepest sympathy in their hour of sorrow.
