STAYTON, J. P.
(4 Dec 1924, Erick Democrat, Erick, Beckham Co, OK):
Gone.
Word was received in Erick last Thursday announcing the death of J. P.
Stayton, who formerly lived on what is known as the Geo. Harris farm
located east of Erick.  Mr. Stayton homesteaded this farm.  A few years
ago Mr. Stayton traded with Geo. Harris for his property at Moorewood,
Okla., and has been living up there to the day of his death.  J. P.
Stayton was a good man and had many friends here who join with us in
extending our condolence to the bereaved family.
