STRINGER, LEONA A.
(1 Mar 1923, Beckham County Democrat, Erick, Beckham Co, OK):
DIED.  Mrs. Elbert Stringer, who lived with her husband and family
northwest of Delhi passed into the Great Beyond last Thursday night with
pneumonia.
She had been ill quite a while, ever since giving birth to a child about a
month ago.  She was considered much improved, and her husband was sick
also at this time, and the neighbors who had been nursing them thought
best to let them rest that night without attendance.  Along about two
o'clock Mrs. Stringer awoke her husband telling him that she felt very
peculiar and believed that she needed help.  He went to a phone and called
a doctor, and when he returned he found his wife dead.
She leaves a husband and six children of her immediate family to cherish
her memory.
