SWISHER, MARY
(23 Mar 1922, Thursday, Erick Democrat, Erick, Beckham Co, OK):
Mrs. Mary Swisher, wife of R. E. Swisher, of Sayre, died last Sunday
morning following a long illness.  The burial occurred in the cemetery
near Doxey, Monday in the presence of a large concourse of people.
Mrs. Swisher was born at Nashville, Tenn., 65 years ago and has lived in
Okla. only a few years.  She was one of Sayre's best women and enjoyed the
warm friendship of all those who knew her.  She is survived by the
husband, three sons and three daughters; Michiel (sic), Homer and Paul
Swisher and Mrs. V. L. Bower, Mrs. W. T. Bingham, of our city, and Miss
Ada Swisher; to whom the memory and influences of her splendid christian
character is a great asset and inspiration.
