TOON, MOSES S.
(5 Apr 1928, Thursday, Erick Democrat, Erick, Beckham Co, OK):
Moses S. Toon was born near Scottsboro, Ala., December 10, 1859.  Died at
his home near Erick Sunday morning, April 1st 1928.  Being 68 years, 3
months and 21 days of age.
He came to Oklahoma in 1907 and settled in the community near Erick where
he resided up to the time of his death, making many friends who admired
and respected him.  He united with the Advent Church in North East Texas
at Greenwood Church.
He leaves one son, G. B. Toon and wife Mrs. Emma Toon and other relatives
from Texas who were present, Mr. Robert Toon and sons, Albert, Clay and
Cecil who reside at Eulae, Texas, also three Grandchildren Mildred Elmer
and Ruth Toon as well as a number of other relatives and friends in this
vicinity and in Texas who will miss his departure from life.

We wish to express our sincere thanks to our neighbors and friends for the
kindness shown us during the death of our dear father and grandfather M.
S. Toon.

beautiful floral offerings.
