TREADWAY, JAMES ALEXANDER
(28 Jun 1928, Beckham County Democrat, Erick, Beckham Co, OK):
OBITUARY
Death has again visited our town and claimed Mr. James Alexander Treadway
as the one to be relieved of the sufferings of this life.  His call came
June 20th, 1928, after having gone through that which the flesh is heir
to, sickness suffering and then death.
Mr. Treadway moved to Erick, August 18th, 1928, from his farm near
Plainview community, where he had resided since 1908.  He leaves to mourn
his departure, his wife and six children who were all present except one
daughter, who is in California; at the funeral services conducted by
Brother S. N. Wilson at the Church of Christ.  Mr. Treadway just before
going admonished those around his bedside to meet him in heaven; where no
sorrow, sickness or pain and death are felt and feared no more.  His body
was laid to rest in the Erick Cemetery to await the resurrection morning.
