All rights reserved. http://www.rootsweb.com/~usgenweb/copyright.htm ************************************************ VINES, VIRGINIA (21 Jan 1909, Thursday, Beckham County Democrat, Erick, Beckham Co, OK): DIED At her home four miles west of Erick January 16, 1909, Mrs. Virginia Vines. She leaves a husband and four children to mourn their loss. Sister Vines was born July 26, 1866, in Ellis county, Texas; was converted and joined the Methodist Church South at 15 years old and lived a devoted christian until the day of her death. The funeral was conducted by the writer at the home, after which interment was made at the Texola cemetery. Will say to the loved ones, be faithful to God and man and trust in Jesus, who will save to the utermost all that come unto him. - W. M. Taylor, Pastor. (21 Jan 1909, Erick Altruist, Erick, Beckham Co, OK): Died. Mrs. Virginia Vines, wife of Mr. W. T. Vines, who lives between Erick and Texola, died at her home last Monday aged about 44 years and was burried (sic) in Erick (sic) cemetery Wednesday, Jan. 20. Rev. Benjamin Vines, her uncle, conducting the funeral services. Mrs. Vines was a sweet spirited Christian lady, an estimable wife and mother and for 20 years a faithful member of the Methodist church. She is survived by her bereaved husband, W. T.
