WADLOW, JAMES LOCKRIDGE
(7 Mar 1907, Greer County Republican, Erick, Beckham Co, OK):
James Lockridge Wadlow died at the home of his mother, Mrs. John Wadlow
yesterday afternoon from complications following a severe attack of
measles.  He died peacefully without rebellion in his heart, although he
struggled manfully to live.  Locky was about 3 months past 16 years old. 
He was born in Collins county, Texas, and lived there until the family
moved here about a year ago.  He was a good boy, kind to his mother and
younger brothers.  He was Mrs. Wadlow's oldest child and her principal
support.  His death is especially saddening because of the fact that less
than one month ago his father died quite suddenly, and his mother and
brothers are thus doubly bereaved.  They have the sincerest sympathy of
every one in this community.  The funeral was held today at 1 o'clock at
the Presbyterian church, conducted by Rev. M. C. Liddell.  Interment in
Erick cemetery.
