WARFORD, PEARL
(May 1928, Beckham County Democrat, Erick, Beckham Co, OK):
All Erick and the surrounding community extend their sympathy to Dr.
Warford who lost his wife last week.  Mrs. Warford suffered from stomach
disorders caused from an attack of the flu.  Funeral services were held
for her Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the residence.  The scripture
reading and songs were conducted by the pastor of the First Christian
Church.  A large crowd attended.  A long funeral procession followed the
body to the Erick Cemetery, where it was placed to rest among a bower of
beautiful flowers.  The pall bearers were:  H. C. Garrett, J. H. Burge, W.
R. Hood, Johnnie Elms, Marion Bryant and W. J. Pennington.
