WELLS, WILLIAM F.
(23 Nov 1905, Greer County Republican Erick, Beckham Co, OK):
Died. Saturday morning, November 18, at his home five miles southeast of
Erick, Wm. F. Wells, a young man who was, until about ten days before his
death, conspicuously robust.  He then contracted a severe cold which
resulted in pneumonia, which caused his death.
Mr. Wells came to Greer county from Parker county, Texas, and has made
splendid progress as a farmer.
His father and brother and brother-in-law, J. O. Witt, of Parker county
are here settling up Mr. Wells' estate.
His remains were interred in Erick cemetery Sunday afternoon.  Rev. W. J.
Hale conducted the funeral ceremony.  Mr. Wells is survived by his widow
and three children, and the Republican, together with a host of friends,
mourn with them in their bereavement.

Died:  At his home five miles southeast of Erick, Nov. 18, Will L. Wells,
from a violent attack of pneumonia fever after only a few days illness. 
His death was a great shock to his many friends as it was so unexpected. 
He was a good citizen and neighbor and was held in highest esteem by the
community in which he lived, and the neighborhood has sustained a great
loss in his untimely end.
