WILLIS, MARTHA A.
(13 Jul 1922, Beckham County Democrat, Erick, Beckham Co, OK):
Last Friday Asa Willis received word that his mother who was in the
hospital at Elk City and who had underwent an operation was not expected
to live.  Mr. Willis and family immediately left for Elk City, reaching
their (sic) just before his mother passed to the great beyond.  The
bereaved relatives and friends have our sympathy in their hour of sorrow.

DIED.  Martha A. Willis died July 7.  Funeral services were held at the M.
E. Church, South, July 8, Rev. J. L. Hefley officiating.  Interment was at
Fairlawn cemetery.
