Wilmoth, a pioneer Oklahoman, and an old resident of Bristow died at the family home, 214 East Fourth, about 1:30 Sunday. The funeral will be conducted from the Baptist church Tuesday at 2 p.m., and the remains will be buried in Woodlawn cemetery with Masonic honors. Mr. Wilmoth was 65 years old. He came to Oklahoma in 1891, filing on a claim in what is now Pottawatomie county. He came to Bristow 15 years ago, where he was with the Frisco railroad for several years, going from here to Erick, then to Chandler, where he resided until he moved to Bristow about two years ago. Three years ago last April he was stricken with paralysis and had been practically helpless up to the time of his death. His widow, six children, four brothers and a sister survive. The children are Mrs. Mabel Austin, Miami; Glenn Wilmoth, Muskogee; Mrs. Maude Hartwig, Bristow; G. L. Wilmoth, Bristow; Mirl Wilmoth, Springfield; and Earl Wilmoth, McLean, Texas. His brothers are George Wilmoth, Enid; A. W. Wilmoth, Cameron, Texas; Dick Wilmoth, Elk City; Pete Wilmoth, Aline, Oklahoma. His sister is Mrs. Wilmoth, Aline, Okla., his daughter is Mrs. Effie Tarpley, Enid. - Bristow Tribune. Mr. Wilmoth for several years lived in Erick and was employed by the R. I. He made many friends here, who are sorry to learn of his death.
