WOOD, BELL
(23 Feb 1928, Erick Democrat, Erick, Beckham Co, OK):
Miss Bell Bearden was born in Pinola County, Texas, May 5th, 1867, was
married to Thomas Wood in 1888.  To this union 5 children were born, one
having preceeded her in death.  She joined the Baptist church about twenty
years ago.  She leaves to mourn her departure husband and four children,
three girls and one boy.  All were at her bedside when the end came except
one daughter, Mrs. Alice Hines of Citre.
Funeral services were held at the cemetery at 2 o'clock Sunday, conducted
by S. N. Wilson.
Mr. and Mrs. Wood had recently moved here and were living on the Turner
farm South East of town.  The family have the sympathy of all in this
their sad hour.
