   21,1939 Newspaper Unknown **Funeral services for Mrs.Catherine Amanda
   GALLOWAY,wife of J.W.GALLOWAY,four miles north of Carter and mother of
   Lawrence GALLOWAY,Beckham county surveyor,who died at 6 p.m.Wednesday
   at her home,will be held at 2:30 Friday afternoon at the Carter
   Methodist church.Burial will be in the Carter
   cemetery.Rev.W.L.FRENCH,Carter minister,will officiate.Mrs.GALLOWAY'S
   death came 18 days after her 73rd birthday.She was born July 1,1866 at
   Blue Ridge,Ga.,and was married in 1883 at Blue Ridge to J.W.GALLOWAY
   who survives.Mrs.GALLOWAY came to Beckham county with her husband and
   family 24 years ago.She was a member of the Methodist church.Survivors
   in addition to her husband include three daughters and five
   sons.Daughters are Mrs.A.B.MITCHELL,Laverge,Tenn:
   I.M.PYCATT,Chico,Texas,and Mrs.Terrall MEREDITH,Enid,Okla., Sons are
   W.H.GALLOWAY,Edenburg,Texas;J.O.GALLOWAY,Litte
   Rock,Ark;J.H.GALLOWAY,Enid,Okla;J.L.GALLOWAY,Sayre; T.H.
   GALLOWAY,Muskogee.Three brothers and four sisters also survive
