She passed away June 23, 2007 at Amarillo, Texas at the age of 88 year and 2 months. Lellia attended school at Midway, Rankin and Reydon where she was a member of the first graduating class of 1937. She was valedication of both her 8th grade and high school graduating class. On Augusat 8, 1937 she was married to her high school sweetheart, Andrew Garver at Reydon, Oklahoma. They were ranchers and farmers and raised Registered Quarter Horses. Lellia was a member of the Durham Church of Christ most of her adult life. She taught Sunday School classes and helped with summer vacation Bible School classes for many years. She was a member of the Extension Home Demostration Club and Club. She exhibited clothing, quilts and other articles when she won many lst place and championship fore her sewing. Leillia was awarded the Golden Thimble award for her outstanding sewing ability. She was an adult 4-H Club leader for many years and spent countless hours working with 4-H members prepairing speeches, demostrations, clothing projects and Share the Fun skits. S! he enjoyed working in her yard and garden and sewing for her girls. Her hands were seldom idle. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 7 brothers and sisters. Survivors include her two daughters Andrea Beth Wheeler and husband, Billy, of Amarillo, Texas and Bobbye De Ann Sparks and husband, Stanton, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; 2 brothers Bobby Montgomery of Stinnett, Texas and Billy Montgomery of Pryor, Oklahoma; 2 sisters Marguerete Clement, of Mangum, Oklahoma and Betty Hanawalt, of Cheyenne, Oklahoma; 2 grandchildredn Andrea Lauri Boatright and Clay Jacob Wheeler; 3 great grandchildren Sage Boatright, Dalton Boatright, Brewer Boatright and a host of relatives and friends. Services were held Monday, June 25, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. at Durham Church of Christ officiated by Mike Heatwot. Burial was held at White Rose Cemetery, Reydon, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma under the direction of Rose Chapel Funeral Service.
