Democrat Miss Lillie Mae Graves, assistant in the office of Dr. R. C. McCreery for a number of years died at her home on West Third street, this city, early Wednesday morning following a prolonged illness. She was well and favorably known in Erick and communities where she was born and raised. She is the daughter of Mrs. Bettie Graves, of Texola. Her father, the late Dee Graves passed away several months ago at the Texola home. The body was being held late Wednesday afternoon at the the Fatheree mortuary pending funeral arrangements. OBITUARY Lilly Mae Graves was born in Cooke County, Texas April 15th., 1899. She gave her life to Jesus and united with the Baptist Church at the age of 17 years. Her father and two sisters preceded her in death. She departed this life July 30th., 1930, at the age of 31 years, 3 months and 15 days. She leaves to mourn her departure, her mother, Mrs. Betty Graves, of Texola, Oklahoma; two brothers and two sisters, Lendon Graves, Clayton, New Mexico; Fred Graves, Texola, Oklahoma, Mrs. L. E. Stone, Clayton, N. M., Cecil Graves, Texola Oklahoma and a number of other relatives. 7 Aug 1930, Beckham County Democrat Funeral services were held at the First Baptist Church, Thursday afternoon, July 31st. Atlie G.
