She spent all her live in Oklahoma except two years in Arkansas and 4 years in Kansas. She was married to C. A. "Charley" Hohenshelt, both of Doxey November 2, 1905 at Chey- enne. She leaves to mourn her death her husband and two children, Johnie and Rosa; four sisters, Mrs. S. A. Rogers, Elk City; Mrs.. P. L. Hasty, Henryetta, Oklaho- ma; Mrs. D. A. Mondy, Zoder, Colorado; Miss Pearl Benham Supply, Oklahoma; Mr. G. C. White, nephew, Henryetta, Okla- homa; Mrs. Reynolds, niece, Elk City' Mrs. Momer Hix, niece, Elk City and several other relatives. She was converted and joined the Methodist church at 14 years of age, and when her children were conerted and joined the Baptist church in August 1919, she and their father joined with them and they were all baptised at the same time. I heard her say it was a good place for the child- ren and if they were not christ- ians they would soon be. We know her to be a sweet christian character. Her health was such that she had not atten- ded church regular for several years, but never felt to bad when able to go out at all to visit and administer to the sick. As we think of it, we are reminded of the scripture where Christ said, "in as much as you did to one of these little ones you did it to me." She was a true companion, a devoted mother and a true friend and a good neighbor. We think of her going as a link to the gold- en chain when completed will never be broken.
