The submitter has given permission to the USGenWeb Archives to store the file permanently for free access. http://www.usgwarchives.net/ *********************************************************************** Maudie Jane Harrison, 90, was born March 19, 1894 in Winfield, Kansas to John Anderson and Jane Evaline Myers, and passed from this life Friday morning, January 4, 1985 in the Roger Mills Memorial Hospital, Cheyenne, Okla. following an extneded illness. As a small child she moved with her parents to Talala, Indian Territory and then on to Rankin in 1903. On April 26, 1912 she was married to Jerry Skaggs Harrison in Rankin, Okla. where they made their home. Mrs. Harrison had been a member of the United Pentecostal Church in Allison for a number of years. Those who preceded her in death were her parents, he husband, 2 sosns, 7 brothers and 3 sisters. Survivors include 3 daughters Eva Schoinhals of Shattuck, Okla.; Erma Hamon of Reydon; Veta Moore of Tempe, Ariz.; 6 sons, Bruce of Allison, Texas; John of Las Vegas, NV; Roy of Texola, Okla.; Leldon of Reydon; Billy of Cheyenne; 25 grandchildren, 36 great grandchildren, 19 great great grandchildren; 2 sisters: Violet Burns of Elk City, Vina Wickens of Elk City; a number of other relatives and friends. Funeral services were conducted Sunday, January 6, 1985 at 2:00 p.m. in the Reydon Community Building with F.R. Johnson of Allison, Texas and T.J. Lovelady of Reydon, Okla. offficating. Interment followed in the White Rose Cemetery, Reydon, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma with arrangements made by Rose Chapel Funeral Service of Cheyenne. Grandsons acted as pallbearers.
