   Thursday,March 4,at his residence east of this city,L.W.HAWKINS,from
   an attack of pneumonia.Funeral occurred March 5,Interment at Carter
   cemetery. ******The death of L.W.HAWKINS,which occured March 4,mention
   of which was made in the March 11 issue of the Standard,removed from
   the community in which he resided a man of the strictest integrity,a
   Christian whose life is worthy of emulation and whose deeds of
   kindness and acts of love will ever be a pleasant memory to the
   bereaved wife,relatives and neighbors.A grander legacy than this no
   man could bequeath to those who survive him.
