She was the daughter of J.S.McCOLUM of this city with whom she was making her home, her husband and mother having preceded her into the great beyond.Besides her father she leaves three brothers,O.L.McCOLUM, R.E.McCOLUM,and A.B.McCOLUM and three sisters,Mrs. Hattie VINYARD,Mrs.Bessie HAMMONS of Elk City, and Mrs.Johnnie DAUGHTRY and other relatives and a host of friends. Ima was a devoted member of the Church of Christ, always present at the services of the Church and ready to help in every good work. Before the end came she expressed a willingness to go,saying she feared not death. She also made request concerning her funeral and interment which were carefully carried out.She requested that Bro.EWTON of Tecumseh, whom she knew in childhood and whom she had become especially attached when she was a little girl, make the talk at her funeral.Bro.EWTON having been a friend of the McCOLUM family for years, spoke words of consolation and encouragement that will be cherished by the bereaved ones through all the years to come.He was assisted in the services by the local minister J.C.CARMAN.a very impressive and beautiful song service was conducted by L.F.MARTIN assisted by others.Especially impressive was the quartette"Beautiful Home Somewhere."
