Mr.HENSON had suffered with rheumatism for 16 years,during which time he had consulted different physicians and had gone to many health resorts seeking relief.He was taken preiously ill about 8 months prior to his death while in Hot Springs,New Mexico.He was brought to his home in Carter where he was cared for by friends and loved ones for about a month and was then taken to Clinton where he received treatment from Dr.Coulson.His condition grew worse and he was brought back home again where medical treatment and careful nursing failed to relieve his suffering. Mr.HENSON was born in Jack County,Texas,January 17,1884,and came to this country in 1891 with his father.He was a stock farmer until 12 years ago when he moved to Carter and was appointed road overseer and served the remainder of his life. He leaves to mourn his death his devoted wife,one son and one daughter;his aged father,stepmother,two brothers,four sisters and a host of friends.Interment was made in the Carter cemetery.GENTRY-KELLOUGH of Elk City were in charge of arrangements.
