The submitter has given permission to the USGenWeb Archives to store the file permanently for free access. http://www.usgwarchives.net/ *********************************************************************** Camella Faye Henson was born in Erick, Oklahoma on february 2, 1927 to George Washington Ellis and Thelma Lizzie Balcom Ellis, and passed away in St. Mary's Hospital in Enid, Oklahoma, Sunday, July 30, 200 at the age of 73 years, five months and 28 days. Camella graduated from Erick High School in 1946 and later was employed by Farmers National Bank, Erick. Camella was married to Frederick S. Henson in Erick on October 15, 1950 and they made their home there. She continued her employement in the bank after it became First American Bank and retired from her position there February 15, 1990. Camella was active in her church work, Erick community affairs, and served as secretary-treasurers of the Erick Alumni Association for several years. She attended the Texola Baptist church and used her singing voice to serve the Lord. Camella moved to Enid two years ago to be near her family. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband; and one brother Waydean Ellis. She is survived by two sisters, Ila Verne Bullen, Sayre, Oklahoma, and Wanda Copeland, Enid, Oklahoma; two brothers, Edwin Ellis of Houston, Texas and A.J. Ellis of Wakomis, Oklahoma; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends. Services were held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, August 3, 2000 at the Texola Baptist Church, officiated by Charlie Floyd. Interment was in Mulberry Cemetery, Sweetwater, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma under the direction of Fathree-Albert Funeral Home, Erick.
