The submitter has given permission to the USGenWeb Archives to store the file permanently for free access. http://www.usgwarchives.net/ *********************************************************************** January 13,2001 *The Sayre Record and Beckham County Democrat **HUDSON ** Funeral services for Betty Lou HUDSON were held Saturday,January 13,2001 at 2:00 p.m.in the Rose Chapel with John RODGERS officiating.Burial was in the Carter Cemetery under the direction of Rose Chapel Funeral service.Betty,the daughter of Eula Mae and L.M.JACKSON,was born November 27,1930 in Carter,OK.,and passed away January 11,2001 in Elk City,OK. at the age of 70 years,one month and 14 days.Betty married Daulton HUDSON at Shamrock,TX. on November 6,1948.They lived in Countyline,TX.until they moved to the Carter Community.They later moved to Sayre where Daulton owned a Tire Shop and several other businesses.Betty worked at the pants factory in the early 1970's and later for Grand Place Nursing Home for 20 years.She was a member of the Carter First Baptist Church.She was preceded in death by her parents,husband,and two brothers.She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law,Beverly and Mark HYLTON of Elk City,OK;three son's and daughter-in-law,Ricky and Lorri HUDSON of Sayre,Ok.,Doyle and Patty HUDSON of Oklahoma City,Dennis and Sharla HUDSON of Carter,Ok;one sister Bobbie Sue WOLF and husband,Ray of Sayre;three brothers,V.T.JACKSON of El Reno,OK,Clifton and Ann JACKSON of California and Danny and Nina JACKSON of Weatherford;ten grandchildren and six great grandchildren
