   HIGHWAY YOUTH IS WOUNDED FATALLY
   
   Carter-Special,-Funeral services were held Tuesday at the Highway
   school for Larry Dean HYDER,13 year-old son of Mr.and Mrs.Chester
   HYDER,who was fatally wounded Monday in a hunting accident in the
   Highway community.
   
   The accident occured at around 1 p.m. Monday while the youth and his
   cousin,Robert Gene LOOKINGBILL,Burial was in the Carter cemetery.15
   year old,were hunting on the Rand Connally farm,three miles east and
   three-fourths mile north of Carter.
   
   A charge from a 410 gauge shotgun struck him in the chest.He died
   within a few minutes.County Attorney R.L.MINTON,who investigated the
   shooting,described it as entirely accidental.
   
   Larry Dean was an eight grade student at the Highway school.
   
   He was born in November,1928,at Carter.
   
   In addition to his parents,he is survived by one sister,Betty;and his
   grandparents,Mr.and Mrs.B.N.HYDER of Carter and Mr.and
   Mrs.R.N.LOOKINGBILL of Highway.
