Bill Bailey Jr.
CLAXTON, Ga. - Bill Bailey Jr., 74, died Tuesday, Oct. 31, 2000.

Memorial services will be held at a later date. Burial will be in Memory Gardens 
Cemetery at Amarillo. Arrangements are by Thomas L. King Funeral Home of Martinez, Ga.

Mr. Bailey was born in Butler, Okla. He served during World War II, in the Army Air 
Corps and the Navy. He retired from ground maintenance at the Veterans Administration 
Hospital in Amarillo.

He was a member of the National Rifle Association, the Texas Civil Air Patrol and 
Kingdom Hall at Canyon, Texas.

Survivors include four sons, Mark Bailey of Augusta, Scott Lee Bailey of Claxton, 
Mike Bailey of Hanston, Kan., and John Ross of Elk City, Okla.; a brother, Kenneth 
Bailey of Clinton, Okla.; and five grandchildren.
