Jack Bass
ERICK, Okla. - Jack Bass, 86, died Monday, Oct. 23, 2000, 
in Shamrock, Texas.

Services will be at 2 p.m. today in Erick First Baptist Church 
with Joe Jernigan and the Rev. Lynn Brack officiating. Burial 
will be in Texola Cemetery by Fatheree-Albert Funeral Home.

Mr. Bass was born in Erick. He was a farmer and rancher and was 
a lifetime resident of the Erick and Texola areas. 

He married Sallye Fletcher in 1934 at Erick.

Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Glenda Beck of Shamrock; 
three sons, Ronald Bass and Buck Bass, both of Erick and P.R. 
Bass of Shamrock; a sister, Viola Potts of Lubbock, Texas; six 
brothers, Bill Bass of Fritch, Texas, D.A. Bass of Hart, Texas, 
Harold Bass of Erick, Wayne Bass and Dean Bass, both of Friona, 
Texas, and Bert Bass of Borger, Texas; nine grandchildren; and 
nine great-grandchildren.
