Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in First Baptist Church with the Rev. Roger Orr, Minister of Missions at the church, officiating. Burial will be in Northlawn Memorial Gardens by Morrison Funeral Directors. Mr. Brown was born in Elk City, Okla., and had lived in Dumas since 1948. He was a field operator for Panhandle Eastern and a member of First Baptist Church. He married Billie Gasawayin 1951 at Zofness Booster. Survivors include his wife; two sons, Tommy Brown of Clovis, N.M., and Kim Brown of Dumas; a daughter, Lynda Heckler of Hugoton, Kan.; a brother, Charlie Brown of Sacramento, Calif.; two sisters, Margaret Farrar of Elk City, Okla., and Mary Cannon of Oklahoma City; and six grandchildren. The family will be at 1405 Twichell and suggests memorials be to Cal Farley's Boys Ranch and Girlstown USA, P.O. Box 1890, Amarillo, TX 79105-9985. Amarillo Daily News Aug. 7, 2000
