Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Priest Park Church of God with the Rev. Melvin Harris, pastor, and the Rev. Philip Hilton, pastor of Sunray Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery by Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. Mr. Callan was born Dec. 7, 1912, in Wheeler. He married Addie Brumley on Oct. 28, 1933, in Erick, Okla. He had been a resident of Pampa since 1948. He worked for the city of Pampa, retiring after 28 years of service. He was a member of the Priest Park Church of God. Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Marlene Bryan and husband, Dean, of Sunray and Gwen Douthit and husband, Bob, of Pampa; five grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and 11 great-great-grandchildren. The family suggests memorials be to BSA Hospice, 800 N. Sumner, Pampa, TX 79065; or to Priest Park Church of God, 1123 Gwendolen, Pampa, TX 79065. Amarillo Globe-News, June 14, 2002
