Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Schooler Funeral Home, Brentwood Chapel, 4100 S. Georgia St., with Bret McCasland of San Jacinto Church of Christ officiating. Graveside services will be at 4 p.m. in Fairlawn Cemetery at Elk City, Okla., with the Rev. Bob Cox of First Presbyterian Church in Elk City officiating. Mr. Colangelo was born in Chicago and had lived in Amarillo for more than 50 years. He was a Navy veteran of World War II. He was the owner and operator of Tony's Spray Co. for 50 years. He was a member of San Jacinto Church of Christ, the Golden Spread Pest Control Association and the Texas Pest Control Association. He was a past member of the Better Business Bureau. Mr. Colangelo married Ruth Barrow in Elk City. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Barbara Jean Smith, in 1972. Survivors include his wife; two grandchildren, April Chambers of Roswell, N.M., and Raymond Smith of Amarillo; and two great-grandchildren. The family requests memorials be to Baptist St. Anthony's Hospice and Life Enrichment Center or the Don and Sybil Harrington Cancer Center.
