All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ************************************************ Berta Purcell Estes REYDON, OKLA. - Berta Purcell Estes, 90, died Monday, Nov. 1, 2004, in Dallas. Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the Reydon Community Building. Burial will be in White Rose Cemetery by Rose Chapel Funeral Service of Cheyenne. Mrs. Estes was born April 28, 1914, near Rankin. She was a longtime member of Reydon United Methodist Church, where she taught Sunday school and worked with the youth of the church. Survivors include a son, Gordon Estes of Mobeetie, Texas; a daughter, Pastor Karen Estes Dudley of Dallas; a son, Gary Estes of Cleburne, Texas; four sisters, Atrell Hooper and Jane Swopes, both of Elk City, Adell Simpson of Clinton and June Devine of Woodward; 10 grandchildren; and 21 great- grandchildren.
