Graveside services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in Pie Flat Cemetery in Roll, Okla., with Ben Mathers officiating. Arrangements are by Hughs Funeral Home. Mr. Hardin was born May 22, 1921, in Crawford, Okla., to the late Mr. William Hardin and Mrs. Bessie Mae Bullard Hardin. He was a graduate of Crawford High School in Crawford. He married Wanda Mae Barber on Sept. 19, 1940, in Crawford. She preceded him in death on March 2, 1990. Travis moved to Canadian in 1954 from Hammon, Okla. He was a rancher from 1955 to 1962. He then worked at the Canadian Grain CO-OP as a mill foreman until retiring in 1983. He then owned and operated a liquid feed business. He also loved to hunt, fish, dance and bowl with his wife and family. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Jack Hardin, and a sister, June Barber. Survivors include two sons, Wendell G. Hardin and wife, Rana, of Canadian and Charles T. Hardin and wife, Roberta, of Elk City, Okla.; a sister, Wanzell Davis of Elk City; and six grandchildren, Terrel Hardin of Canadian, Tim Hardin of Elk City, Ty Hardin of Sayre, Okla., Julie Hubl of Wichita, Kan., Vicky Arnold of Texas City and Kendra Hardin of Chicago.
