HENRIETTA - James Harl Hargis, 74, died Friday, Aug. 25, 2000, in Oklahoma City.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday in Davis Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. 
Mark Little, pastor of Grandview Assembly of God Church in Elk City, Okla., 
officiating. Burial will be in Hope Cemetery at Henrietta.

Mr. Hargis was born in Romi, Okla. He worked as a drilling superintendent.

He married Mae Kirby in 1954 at Clayton, N.M.

Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Charla Hargis of Spearman; three 
sons, Randy Hargis of Elk City, Kent Hargis of Spearman and Kirby Hargis 
of Katy; four brothers, Leo Hargis and Lawrence Hargis, both of Wichita 
Falls, Clyde Hargis of Henrietta and Doyle Hargis of Mossy Rock, Wash.; 
10 grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

Visitation will be from 7 p.m. until 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
