All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ************************************************ Glenna Marie Heise GUYMON, Okla. - Glenna Marie Heise, 86, died Friday, July 9, 1999. Services will be at 9 a.m. Monday in Victory Memorial United Methodist Church with the Rev. Mike Chaffin, pastor, officiating. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Sayre Cemetery in Sayre. Arrangements are by Henson-Novak Funeral Directors. Mrs. Heise was born on a farm near Custer City and lived in the Lawton area for several years before moving back to Arapaho. In 1947, she moved to Sayre, where she worked for the Daily Headlight Journal, the North Fork Electric Co-op and the County Treasurer's Office. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star, Sayre United Methodist Church and was active in the Guild. In 1982, she moved to Guymon. She was a member of the Victory Memorial United Methodist Church and the United Methodist Women. She married Henry Heise in 1934 at Arapaho. He preceded her in death. Survivors include a daughter, Ann H. Hughes of Guymon; a son, Don H. Heise of Guymon; two sisters, Florence Wright of Custer City and Sylva Sauer of Oklahoma City; a brother, Charles "Chuck" Roush of Oklahoma City; nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. A Glenna Heise Memorial has been established for the Victory Memorial United Methodist Church U.M.W. Memorials will be accepted at the church office or may be mailed to Henson-Novak Funeral Home, Box 1306, Guymon, OK 73942.
