ERICK, Okla. - Roy Melvin Hiller, 60, died Monday, Sept. 18, 2000, 
in Amarillo.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. today in Texola Baptist Church at 
Texola with Charlie Floyd officiating. Burial will be in Erick 
Cemetery by Fatheree-Albert Funeral Home.

Mr. Hiller was born in Erick. He served in the Army during the 
Vietnam War. He was a letter carrier for the U.S. Postal Service 
in Amarillo for 30 years. He attended Texola Baptist Church.

He married Vernell Sanderson in 1959 at Shamrock.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Tommy Hiller of Amarillo; two 
daughters. Tammy Ross of Owosso, Mich., and Sandy Leard of Amarillo; 
a sister, Faye Bagby of Lewisville; 10 grandchildren; and a great-
grandchild.
