Lawrence was the youngest son of W.E.HUNT who after the death of his mother lived with his very deserving father and sister here for several years. He spent all of his school days here and was loved by all. About two years ago he was married to Miss Nora LAWRANCE leaving immediately for Houston,Texas to work with his brother Elmer.Later he moved to Wichita Falls, from there to Oklahoma City where on May 4th he underwent a serious appendix operation. His condition seemingly grew better for a few months, but it later developed that an abcess had formed on the lung and on November 5 he underwent the second operation from which he never recovered, passing away November 17. He was survived by his wife, one baby son,Larry Don,his father W.E.HUNT of Oklahoma City;three brothers,A.L.HUNT Superintendent of school at Walters,E.M.HUNT,of Houston,Texas,Roy HUNT,with the Curtis Air Service at Oakland,California, and one sister,Ava HUNT,a teacher in the school at Walters. Monday afternoon,November 18,a funeral service was conducted at Oklahoma City, where the many friends and loved ones attended, who could not be present at the services conducted by Rev.C.C.WILLIAMSON Tuesday afternoon November 19,at the Carter Cemetery, where a large crowd of friends and relatives gathered to pay their last respects. The floral offering express our sympathy to the bereaved ones more than words from the tongue or pen. 23 November 1929 The Carter Express
