   Dale Loren Johnston
   Dale Loren Johnston, 76, of Lubbock and formerly of Amarillo, died
   Thursday, Sept. 3, 1998.
   
   Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Schooler Funeral Home, Brentwood
   Chapel, 4100 S. Georgia St.
   
   Mr. Johnston was born and raised in Texola, Okla. He was a Navy Sea
   Bee in World War II, then lived in California. He moved to Amarillo in
   1956 where he lived until moving to Lubbock in 1996. He was a barber
   and a farmer.
   
   He married Cordelia Bessire in 1940 at Sayre, Okla.
   
   Survivors include his wife; four sons, Dale Johnston and Gregory
   Johnston, both of Amarillo, and Steve Johnston and Mark Johnston, both
   of Lubbock; a daughter, Dolores J. Arndt of Lubbock; a brother, Clint
   Johnston of Oklahoma City; a sister, Imogene Rhoades of Elk City,
   Okla.; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
