Lena Maye Jones
Lena Maye Jones, 81, of Amarillo, died Tuesday, Jan. 30, 2001.

Graveside services were at 2 p.m. MST Friday in Carlsbad Cemetery at Carlsbad, N.M., 
with the Rev. Craig C. Cockrell, minister of First United Methodist Church in Carlsbad, 
officiating. Arrangements were by Blackburn-Shaw Funeral Directors, Martin Road Chapel, 
15th Avenue and Martin Road.

Mrs. Jones was born in Durant, Okla., and moved to Amarillo in 1984 from Spearman. 
She was a homemaker and a member of the Pleasant Valley United Methodist Church.

Survivors include a daughter, Mae Owens of Elk City, Okla.; a son, M. David Stewart 
of Amarillo; nine grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
